PTA (purified terephthalic acid) is mainly consumed in polyester production including polyester fiber, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle resin and polyester film. In 2004, TASCO extended its petrochemical products beyond C4 chemical category by acquiring Tuntex Petrochemicals, Inc., a PTA producer in Taiwan. TASCO had already executed several process improvements and achieved higher production efficiency. It expanded the product catagory and business of TASCO Group. In order to develop and maintain our PTA market worldwide, TASCO had received REACH registration certificate and ISO series of PTA product.

純對苯二甲酸(PTA)是生產聚酯纖維、聚酯粒的基礎原料。TASCO集團是於2004年收購東展興業股份有限公司，正式將化學品領域跨入芳香類產品。

TASCO已完成數項製程改善工程，藉由降低能源和原料的耗用，獲得了更高的生產效率，這使我們TASCO集團石化產品業務更邁向多元化發展。

此外，為了維持並繼續擴展全球市場，TASCO的PTA產品已完成歐盟REACH法規之註冊及ISO系列認證。
