集團簡介
TASCO was established in 1982 as a leading technical-oriented petrochemical company in Taiwan specializing in C4 chemistry. Over the past dozens of years, TASCO continuously grew into an integrated enterprise involved in petrochemicals, energy, high technology and finance.
TASCO started Liquefied Petroleum Gas business in 1995 (operated by SAFEWAY, NSEnergy and Ming-Xing)and at present own the majority of LPG market shares in Taiwan. In recent years, energy saving become an important issue. TASCO always takes intensive attention and interest in energy industry including both fossil and renewable energy. As to petrochemical sector, TASCO extended into aromatic chemicals beyond C4 chemicals by acquiring Tuntex Petrochemicals Inc., a purified terephthalic acid (PTA) manufacturer in Taiwan, in 2004. Aside from chemical industry, TASCO also get involved and invested in financial industry in Taiwan.
With the aim of the sustainable development of enterprises, TASCO will not stop contributing to the technology innovation and provide high-quality and environment-friendly products to our society. TASCO believes that what is taken from society shall also be given back to society. Therefore, TASCO annually provide scholarships to students majoring in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at over 20 universities in Taiwan. The local residents of Lin-Yuan, Kaohsiung City, the site of our production plants, enjoy a social relief fund provided by TASCO for those in need of help.
In today's competitive industrial world, facing the future, TASCO focus on technological improvements and new developments to improve the quality of our existing manufacturing processes and products. Diverse researches of new products are also done in TASCO's R&D as well as the cooperation with many research laboratories and universities in Taiwan. From technology transfer to technology development, TASCO has moved itself forward in firm steps.
TASCO創立於1982年，為一家專營碳四化學研究及生產的石化公司，以專業團隊及創新技術領導集團逐漸成長。如今，TASCO集團事業版圖已超越石化化工產業，更跨足能源新事業、高技術產業和金融業。
TASCO集團自1995年開始液化石油氣LPG事業(以北誼興業、北海能源和民興石化在營運)，目前擁有台灣最多市場份額。 近年來，節能減碳已為全球各界重要的目標和行動，TASCO集團始終對於能源工業保持高度興趣與注意。在碳四化學之外，TASCO集團於2004年透過購併東展興業公司，成功將產品項目延伸進入芳香類化學產品-純對苯二甲酸PTA。除了化學產業，TASCO對於台灣金融業亦有相當的關注與投資。
